The stuffed head

Dear Auntie,

My fella and I are going to be finding a place to live together.
I think we will be ok on decorating it together except for one thing - he has a stuffed deer head.
It goes on the wall - you know - like the singing Billy Bass.

If we are getting a smallish place, like a duplex or townhome, where does one hang something like that?

I think in the bedroom I will feel like it is staring at me nekkid.
In the kitchen or living room is just too social of a place.
The bathroom won't have enough room. Should it go in the garage? His space?

Also, if it ends up in the house, can I at least decorate it for the holidays?
A santa hat at Christmas?
A pillow case over it for halloween?
Maybe flags on it's antlers for 4th of July?

I just don't know how to work with a stuffed head!
What do you recommend?

I would suggest in the hallway if You really don't want it in the living room. I see no problem in the living room by the way. Its an expression of who He is & what He does & I'm sure He's rather proud of it, or He wouldn't of had it mounted in the first place. As far as in the bedroom, if You ain't in a hunting lodge, it don't belong there. Decorating? Oh hell yes. Ears at Easter, Santa cap & beard for Christmas etc. Just remember there are things You own & will want to put up that He may not be thrilled with, so a little compromise is in order. Example, not flowered, rainbowed or blue bird sheets. He could care less what a duvet it. Hell I don't care what a duvet is but thats one He'll probably give You. A new home is an expression of all individuals living there. Also, just a helpful handy hint on a personal note.......[Let dood watch or listen to some baseball this summer. Just saying/size]

I actually DO love who he is and what he is about - just have never hung one of these before.
I'm sure we will find a place of honor - and I will steer clear of rainbows and bluebirds - which I would actually NEVER decorate with - WAY too fru fru - even for this woman!

(Psssst...I AM glad he doesn't have a Billy Bass though!)
